Yes! I've written about these studies quite a few times before as well.

u should listen to latest epi of History on Fire, which is about Scythian women who fought in battles in exact same capacity as men, often better

“…Female chimpanzees in Sudan, for instance, have been seen eating leaves from certain Ziziphus and Combretum plant species, which local women use to induce abortions…”

Am I the only one reading ^this and thinking, “Where are these plants? And why aren’t we learning to cultivate them in greenhouses?”

I think at-home herbal abortions are actually a thing, though I'm not sure how effective/safe they are.

The Digital Drumbeat by Demcast (here on Substack) addresses what I mentioned before. I was going to leave the info on your direct messaging (but I’m not a paid subscriber :( so I’m leaving the information here

In these times, I hope it’s being studied and becomes available. Not everyone can travel. I understand the safety concerns although mifepristone or any drug has its own. I’ll research and keep my eyes open (must we consider our public comments and searches being watched? What a sad, horrible reality). Thanks, Katie Jgln, for all your work.

I read Cat Bohanon's book from cover to cover back in January. It's incredibly well written, so although it's very long and scientific, it reads like a thriller! I'm a midwife so, not gonna lie, I was hooked from the first page!

This was great! I really need to read Eve.

Related is that there have always been people who chose to not have any children. So many people act like it's a new thing that "child free" people exist but most cultures had roles for people who never had children or ever married.

"other people assigned female at birth". STOP. If you really cared about women like your writing suggests you would NEVER allow trans ideology to rob women of our sexed language.

NOBODY is ASSIGNED a sex at birth. We ARE either male or female. This is crazy-making to women who are being forced to compete with men in sports, share bathrooms and locker rooms, give up awards and scholarships, endure male trans people raping women in women's prisons.

For the love of goddess, cannot you not see how effectively patriarchy has just executed a coup on womanhood itself by brainwashing the public into believing that men can actually become women. It's brilliant but also the final diabolical blow by patriarchy to subjugate women.

The psychopathic, misogynist fetishist billionaire transhumanists who invented transhumanism HATE US and have weaponized women's compassion against us.

Their sick ideology is ripping women's breasts off and ripping their wombs out of young girls and women, one of whom was my girlfriend. Women who live with the desperate hope they can escape their tortured female lives by sterilizing themselves and pretending they can be something the can never be. A man. These girls churning through the medical industrial complex making billions for these fetishist pharmaceutical billionaires will suffer for the rest of the world because nobody cared enough to QUESTION WHY they were seeking to become anything but a woman. Most are traumatized or autistic who have no ability to understand, much less give meaningful consent to what's being done to their bodies. This is Mengele level horror inflicted on already suffering girls and women.

Instead, we have feminists literally BEGGING for women's erasure by destroying the sacred words to describe our lived experiences. Women are being called 'chest-feeders', which is revolting. One of many misogynist and degrading terms reserved for us.

Have you no clue just how sick these AGP male perverts are who create horrific videos mocking women and our bodily functions by presenting themselves as breastfeeding mothers, sex slaves, bimbos.

This betrayal, by feminists no less, horrifies me as a mother and grandmother with a daughter and granddaughter. Liberal feminists, which I once was, have thrown all women under the bus by advocating for trans ideology which is at its core an absolute travesty being committed against women.

I have to give credit to the the elites who developed this demonic ideology as a way to destroy feminism. It's proven to be a brilliant way to destroy us by pitting women against each other as they gleefully create their artificial wombs and genetically modified babies.

Liberal feminists do NOT represent feminism. They have become handmaidens to the fetishist patriarchs. It is because of liberal feminists that women are divided and why our rights have been detroyed. By actually believing the ludicrous fiction that is trans ideology, our daughters and our granddaughters will curse our name.

I BEG OF YOU PLEASE, FOR ALL OUR FEMININE AND SACRED VALUES, WAKE UP FROM THE NIGHTMARE OF TRANS IDEOLOGY. IT IS A LIE DESIGNED TO ERASE WOMEN, ERASE OUR RIGHTS, ERASE OUR HISTORY. RESEARCH THE FACTS ABOUT THE ORIGINS OF TRANS IDEOLOGY. IT WILL MAKE YOU NAUSEOUS.

Since you mentioned goddesses I suggest you look into the priestesses of Cybele, Inanna and the enarei of Scythia. All documented as being male assigned individuals that were feminine, took on women's roles, were considered by their societies to be women or a third gender. I hesitate to call them transgender since that's a modern concept but it's worth considering that gender diversity isn't new. Anti trans feminists have become strong allies to fascists in both the UK & the U.S. I'm also autistic myself & quite insulted at the idea that I can't determine my own gender identity (even if in my case it remains the same as it was as a child)

A really fascinating issue! I am now reading "The Rise and Fall of the Third Chimpanzee" by J. Diamond and I think the theme of how some human elements are closely connected to the animal origin (especially in reports of love relationships and related elements) is intriguing and can tell us a lot about ourselves. Also, the way in which scientists who deal with evolutionary biology do research is really inspiring. I really appreciated the way in which, as usual, you went in depth trying to clearly illustrate hidden, underestimated aspects, but above all, the way in which you manage to connect research to themes and social problems. I think the point of making these connections is crucial and I will really strive (inspired by your issues) to do it also in the research of psychological aspects of AI. I think that this could make research even more appealing and bring many people closer who are often distant from it or who look at it with skepticism or thinking it is too "complicated". Looking forward to reading other issues like this.

Just in case someone forgets that it is indeed the US, US, who are the heart of the evil empire, here's a great primer on the modern hormone-based pill's development. How was it tested? Without their knowledge, on Puerto Rican women! That ain't all of course, there were mega high doses causing mega high side-effects, women died and weren't autopsied, and the decision was based on eugenicist / "population control" theories with stated aim of wanting to reduce or eliminate populations that were poor, mentally ill, or who had physical disabilities.

Just because animals do it, does NOT make it moral. Killing preborn humans should never be normalized. We should not regress our civilization by killing our offspring.
