I saw the Dalai Lama speak at a compassion conference in Seattle years ago. He said women needed to run the world. He said we act with a natural compassion that men just don’t possess.

He was right. Hopefully I see it in my lifetime.

oooohhhh this is a good topic. and a touchy one too! if you care about climate change enough to raise your voice you're seen as an extreme leftist. as if nature had a political agenda. here in australia climate protests are becoming a daily occurrence and impacting mostly regular people, causing more traffic which is kinda ironic? definitely seen as a nuisance rather than an eye-opening revelation. is it the best attempt at making a change? i personally don't think so. and don't damage the arts! don't throw soup at the mona lisa come onnnn

This was soooo brutally honest!! I agree completely, women shouldn't be aspiring to be like men to achieve high status, but men should take a leaf out of women's book and ways of seeing things. Even better, we should all be a blend of both...hard back, soft front. Thank you, Katie!!

Us fellas certainly have done a terrible job running the world for the past 7000 years or so. We paved paradise and put up a parking lot, we created a desert and called it "peace". We devoured and suffocated our own empire, and now the world is on fire. I certainly cannot imagine women doing any worse of a job, as that is a pretty tough act to follow, lol.

Amen! Very well-said indeed. The late Buckminster Fuller would certainly agree.
